The “Guardian of Light” has been transformed into the “Templar Knight”! The whole concept for the Guardian of Light was for it to be used as part of a firework display and later as a fire beacon or even to be an integral part of the 2012 Olympic celebrations. This limits the exhibiting opportunities to nights or late evenings. The changes now made enable the sculpture to be exhibited all year round. He’s been finished in time to take part in the Woburn Artbeat exhibition and will be displayed on Woburn village green until the end of April 2010. He will then go on to be exhibited at Wicksteed Park. |
